![]() ![]() ![]() Travel & accomodation ![]() The easiest way to get to the wedding is to buy a charter trip to the seaside resort Cefalů. We will then arrange with buses to and from Polizzi, some 40 minutes up in the mountains from Cefalů. For guests travelling from Sweden, click the Swedish flag in the top right corner of the web page. Accomodation In the town (village) of Polizzi Generosa there is just one small hotel. Around the village, 5-15 minutes away with car, there is however several so called "agriturismo", hotels in the countryside with the choice of B&B, half or full board. In Cefalů, there are lots of hotels. Even if you don't going on a charter trip you probably prefer to live by the sea, for instance in Cefalů, to be close to the beach, and to have the possibility to walk to and from bars and restaurants. Examples of web sites where you can find accomodation in Cefalů: In-Italia, SicilyHotels.com. Or else just search Google for "cefalu" and "hotel". A slightly different hotel in central Cefalů is the convent Collegio di Maria. If you're looking for even cheaper accomodation than what's possible in Cefalů, you can go for a hostel in Palermo, for instance via the web site HostelsPoint.com Accomodation close to Polizzi If you want to stay at an agriturismo close to Polizzi we suggest the Santa Venera, where you, as a guest to the wedding, can stay for 33 euros per night and bed (so children small enough to share beds with a parent don't pay), including breakfast. Just mention that you're coming for Francesco Lipuma's wedding. The Santa Venera has a pool and a restaurant. Great web site for other accomodation in/close to Polizzi: the tourist bureau Palermo Low-cost airlines with flights to Sicily A lot of airlines can take you to Palermo.
